It is all very well to be able to write books, but can you wiggle your ears?

Slamming on the brakes?

Writing a novel is like running a marathon. If you were to stop every two minutes, you’d never reach the end. So if you’ve got the determination, you put your head down and you type. And you type. And you don’t stop until you reach The End.

I’ve just crossed the finish line. The first finish line, anyway. And after writing a lot over the last few weeks, it’s pretty hard to grind to a halt overnight. That’s why I thought I’d start blogging.
